I like the idea of setting up a schedule of who gets to go...

Granite I'm trying to have boundaries with my H... and I'm currently refusing to be his mother... there are certain responsibilities that have been his since we have been homeowners (16 years). One of those is that he does things that require a ladder...like Christmas lights and replacing light bulbs in the overhead lighting fixtures. He is also responsible for mowing. So Christmas comes and goes every year and spring mowing season comes every year and the only light in the toilet section of our bathroom has been out for 4 months... these are things he should notice or know he needs to do. I refuse to ask him to do it.

When I get tired of it eventually I will call a mowing service and charge it to his credit card... I will ask my son to take down the christmas lights... and I will ask my son to do the bathroom light...

He just proves to me over and over again how unreliable he is.
