What's the consensus on English Breakfast tea? I sent this note for fun [slightly edited] to my sis upon 'my great revelation'...Anyone else have an opinion on this stuff?

I was outta tea...so like a laddie all familiar wi' th' neighbour-folk,

I trots over next door.

We only drink flavoured tea, says the missus...

Is that ok?

I may have hesitated...I'm guessin' I did...

Oh wait, she says...I have some Earl Grey and some English Breakfast...

...and we don't drink that...would you like to have them?

Not wishing to offend and wishing for a miracle I says,

That would be fine! Thank youse very much!

***Now I've had The Earls tea before...once.

Tasted like it was brewed with Sunlight detergent dishwater.

English BREAKFAST tea??? No idea.***

Things was precarious...raspberry chamomile I couldn't imagine...or any other stew...I'm a black tea guy...

So I thinks to meself...I'll host the Lemon Earl if the English Breakfast don't fly...beggars can't be...whiners...right?

So...teafolk of PC...is this stuff popular? Twinings is what I bought...in wee sealed bags...when I buy again it'll be in loose leaf form from a decent shop. As far as I'm concerned I've never had tea in my life...before this. Actually I've been drinking Orange Pekoe since I've been 3 or 4...sort of a cultural tradition in NFLD...Dear mama would give us kids a weak brew of course.

Anyway...English Breakfast...Judas, Murphy and Jimmy!...it be sum good stuff! Pardon the rambling post...I'm having a bit of a high-flying driven day...the tea is gravy on top...
