I had my first panic attack right before I went to college. I was worried about moving away from home to a new place where I didn't know anyone.

I didn't have much anxiety in college, surprisingly, or for about a year after. I was extremely busy and I honestly think I didn't even have a second to think about how I was feeling at the time. During college my family went through some very rough times (three family members died within a few months of each other).

Now I notice my anxiety heightening when I'm too stressed at work. I have a very stressful job and for the past week, I have felt anxious almost constantly. This happened a month ago when I had a very big deadline coming up, too. I think my work has been a big factor in how badly I've been feeling lately. I hate my job and it's stressful. I haven't felt "good" in about a month now because I'm very anxious.

Sending hugs to everyone feeling this way. It's tough. I wish there was an easy way to shake the anxiety.
Hugs from:
