Consider the effect of stress on your neurological connection points (ie: spine) this would lead directly to pain and numbness to the extremities.. An anti - inflammatory might help relieve the numbness - and over time perhaps you might get imaging done on your lower spine (Lumbar) as well as cervical (neck). The gones in the spine could be impinging on the nerve roots.
