I've also heard that in treating addictions and EDs, SSRIs can be effective, though I cannot take those either.
Have you talked to a doctor about any of this? Someone who understands eating disorders and your fear around gaining weight?

Yes, thankfully my new pdoc is understanding and I feel comfortable talking with her. She agreed that I shouldn't be put on a 'fattener' so to speak as it will just increase my b/p ing. I've been on ssri's but they're no good for me either.
I've just started Abilify at a very small dose as I'm med sensitive, then slowly increasing if it goes well but it's meant to be more weight neutral out of the antipsychotics. I have bipolar as well, so I really needed some help with my moods and sleep. The b/p'ing seems to be worse when I'm agitated and restless. In a way it calms me. Which I'm sure people with ED's understand.
