Just throwing my 2 cents in.

Years ago I hadn't told my pdoc about my ED but he was treating me for terrible depression. I tried Topomax which didn't help the depression, but seemed to help the ED a bit. Prozac and Cymbalta and all those things did nothing - no harm, no good. Then I tried Zonegran and it really helped control the ED. In me it acted like an appetite suppressant. I didn't lose weight (i've always been "normal" weight) but I had fewer urges to b/p. I stayed on it for quite a while until it lost effectiveness as an A-D. I almost stayed on it just for the anti-ED effects, but doc wanted me to try something else, so I did.

Just recently I was on abilify for 18 months or so. That helped with depression and was weight/ED neutral, which I counted as a bonus since other APs are "fatteners".

It seems like so much of this is trial and error.
Thanks for this!
