Different strokes. I don't need the irony of someone PMing me to tell me they need to ignore me. I ignored a couple of people because how and what they post, that where they are coming from bothers me quite a bit. I blocked some forums for the same reason. I have my own disturbing stuff to deal with, and I have limits of what I want to be exposed to or what I can cope with. That's fair. I read fast and my eyes catch things fast. I can't skip over long or frequent posts easily. I'd have to avoid the thread, and I may not want to do that.

I agree with BnB that I'd rather they are not blocked from responding but just blocked from my view, but that's not how it is. I'm not in charge of the site, and I can live with that imperfection.
