So glad to see I'm not the only person who does this. My apologies have gotten to the point my partner will get mad if I apologize for thing. "Stop saying you're sorry it isn't your fault. I did it myself." In my head I'm thinking all the things I should have done instead so she wouldn't have done what she did. Then she gets mad.... then I get mad at me. Vicious cycle.
