I told her tonight she doesn't have to see me on Mothers Day: she gets her me-time. I'll ask my kid to hide my phone, iPad, laptop, and his stuff too. He may have to take away my car keys, because I once showed up by knocking on her door at night. My needs and wants are lessening. On Thursday, I'll also give her a standing up hug to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. I hear she is a wonderful mother in real life. I can also send good wishes to my own mother this year, and really mean it. No looking for that Hallmark card that least offends me.
The hologram cracks me up. Thanks for the laugh.
