When I was in crisis, 3 times per week for 2 hours each session. I did see her 2-3 times per week for 3 weeks (1-hour sessions), when I was in crisis.

Now, I see her when I want...no more than once a week for one hour and no less than once every three weeks for an hour.

I would definitely not say that money is no object for me, but therapy is my only extra expense, on top of living and frivolous expenses. So, I would go up to twice a week, if needed. I already set aside all the money for my therapy for the year in a flexible spending account (US--set aside money from paycheck tax free, only for health and dependent care expenses). So, I don't really notice any extra expenses ($ automatically deducted from my paycheck every week), even though I technically pay out of pocket for my T--her group doesn't take insurance/they are out of network for me.
