You're not alone, believe me, in trying to treat bipolar illness with as little
medication as possible. Orthomolecular medicine has been enormously helpful to me.

I have taken the mood stabilizers in the past, but now take only a small
dosage of Prozac just to counterbalance the effects of incidents in life that can lead to depression.

There is so much to learn about this. Please continue your work with
the physician whom you're seeing now, and go on a pro-active effort to
learn how to relieve most of the symptoms of bipolar illness.

Don't hesitate to take a small dosage of meds if they can help and don't
cause too much in the way of side effects.

Take care. Thanks for the post; I enjoyed it.
