Has anyone had any experiences with the website "AllBlackClothes"? It is a website which, as I understand it, is targeted at African Americans who have mental health problems, although anyone can join. It's associated in some way with an internet service called "Chatanga" & members can chat in real time with other members who have similar mental health issues.

"AllBlackClothes" also has a channel on YouTube which is how I am familiar with them. I'm thinking about joining, but would like to hear about anyone else's experience with them, if anyone else on PC has had any experience with them. Thanks!
you might not be getting any replies because your subject line is very limiting (only the name of the website) so some people may be feeling like this is a spam post for another website. that kind of activity (spamming / inviting others to join a different website isnt allowed here.)

maybe you can ask a moderator to help you change the title of your post so others can see its not a spam, its that you would like information/help in making your decision of whether to join that website or not..

I used to be a member there, it has some pretty good generic information about mental disorder but its mostly what you can find on sites like wikipedia so to me it wasnt that helpful. plus when I was there for the chats there was no real rules and such like there are here in psych central chats so there was a lot of bickering/fighting/ swearing and other possible triggering conversations (X- rated) going on that you dont find here at psych central...for me I have enough problems/stress in my life I dont need generic information that can be gotten just by typing for example the word depression and wikipedia tells me what someone posted on wikipedia that could be true or false (wikipedia has admitted their own "staff" has posted false information), and chat under stressful hateful situations.

what it comes down to is that you need to decide for your self whether that site is for you or not. some people like it some people dont.
