Shortandcute's psychiatrist is also a DO, Doctor of Osteopathy; basically, osteopathy is body manipulation for neurological conditions, which Shortandcute apparently has up the wahzoo :-) I think her doctor might know enough about her back and the rest of her conditions to know if a chiropractor could help her.

Some states offer Medicaid chiropractor coverage but if yours doesn't S&C, then I'd try for the recommended guy and his sliding scale first and/or try to save up some for a couple visits to at least see if it does help? Maybe then you could have a few fewer visits with your pdoc to save up any co-pays to pay for the chiro, do some combination thing.
