I thought this would be a good exercise for everyone. As soon as you are on the train of negative emotions come here and rewrite your story. Here is how it works:
1. Identify the situation
2. List your negative thoughts
3. Analyze weather those thoughts can be supported/rewrite your story
I will start:
1. Boyfriend drops me off at home after shopping instead of inviting me to his house
2. We are moving into friend zone, he is losing interest, this always happens, I am going to end up single, alone and even more emotional/angry, I will never be happy, how come no one loves me
3. He is allowing me space to sort myself out, he doesn't want to become my crutch, nothing is happening yet, i can change that by working hard (such as writing this thread), I have been happy before, my friends and family love me
I feel better all ready, there might be a better way of doing this so feel free to change the rules. If you get stuck we can help you.
