I am not on Lexapro, but I have been taking Celexa for the last seven months and the medicine I am on is the sister med to yours..... Lexapro is the cleaned up version of Celexa.

They are both take about 12 weeks to really get into your blood stream, but the effects can be felt by some within 4 weeks.... one should be able to notice a considerably difference by the 4 to 5 week.
