I don't have to try to dissociate it just happens when I am under stress and so on.
For me the hard part is NOT dissociating when I am triggered (upset, uncomfortable, scared and so on) for me it just happens.
Get triggered and snap Im feeling floaty and far away and the memory pieces that match with what I am triggered about replays.
