I find meditation is helpful, it helps control obsessive thoughts and calm the breath. I like the counting meditation, breath slowly and count to 10, if you get distracred you must start agaon at one and repeat this slowly until you reach 10, distraction is a good temp solution to anxiety, i play a game on my phone or do something that requires my full attention and concentration and usualy this makes the anxiety dissapear. i know how hard it can be to suffer with anxiety, its frightening, but it is only a stress responce it cannot hurt you, what you are feeling is your body getting ready for fight or flight, just remember these are only feelings they will pass. I too have moved recently and i am clean and sober for last couple of weeks which has exagerated my anxiety, i dont want to take meds either, i think maybe this is a learning process, maybe something we need to learn from. I hope you feel better once u are setteled in your new place and try and be strong and have faith in yourself, you can do this come message me anytime maybe we can help each other.
