I went to talk to the ESE Guidance Counselor (who is over the assistants at the school) about swapping buses with L. She said it was too late in the year to swap. I explained that I couldn't handle what my bus driver was doing anymore and she said my only option other than sticking it out would me to "give up" my bus for the rest of the year and have them assign it to someone else.
I did ther math and it would only cost me about $132 to do this. I get $150 per paycheck for the bus, so that's only one paycheck that I would not get bus pay on. I thought it was worth it to get away from my driver, so I chose that option. Yes, I will lose money, but it's better for my emotional well being this way.
I was "nice" too and didn't ask M to take over. I asked B to ride for the rest of the year. My bus driver has never met B, so he can't hate her yet. M he hates.
Yay! I get an extra hour in the morning now.
