A bunch of times.

My former T went on maternity leave during our work together and I was simultaneously seeing a dietitian she was in practice with. I was paying a cheaper rate for therapy- individual T took insurance only from me so I could afford to see her, group T and dietitian gave me reduced fees. The dietitian was raising her rates for all her clients and told individual T that she would have to raise my rate, to which T replied "Oh no, you're not!" The dietitian was the one who told me the story, so I doubt that T even knows I know.

Another smaller thing was when we were preparing for my move across the country, she kept referring to the name of a major city nearby, but not the actual city I was moving to. She knew she had it wrong, and I never corrected her because it was close enough. Then one session, she suddenly said the specific little city name and I was so surprised and touched that she bothered to learn the city even when I was fine with her referring the larger major city a couple hours from here.

It's so nice when our T's do something small out of care
