What a cruddy night's sleep! I finally went to bed around 1 AM....and was woken by a text from the agency asking if I could do an emergency assignment at 3 AM. I already told them I can't take calls after 10 PM because I don't want to drag my daughter out of bed on a school night. She said "what about at 6:30 AM?" to relieve the person that goes? (That would mean getting my daughter up and to someone's house by 5:45 AM, umm no.)

I told them the earliest I could do is 7:30 AM - and that still requires me to get my daughter up earlier than usual and see if my neighbor can take her. They were ok with that and said to be "on hold" until they know for sure whether or not I'm needed.

Got back to sleep around 4ish....then got a text at 5:15 AM letting me know that the patient was admitted so they need me at 7:30 AM.

I am groggy. Hopping in the shower now. Hoping that will wake me up!

Not sure when I will be able to get back online, but I hope my couch peeps have a good day!
