Is she related to YOU? Is she hard of hearing?
She sounds like a very unhappy woman, who has health problems that don't help matters. It does sound like she might be in pain too, so that may be part of the problem. Plus I'm sure she's depressed. She could definitely use an antidepressant -- but I doubt you'll even get her to a doctor! She sounds like one of those who doesn't trust doctors, and won't have anything to do with them.
As for you ~ I think YOU are depressed as well. I know you're not happy with your living situation, but it's something you cannot help.

Many of us aren't happy with our living situations.

But if you're like me, you're grateful for a roof over your head. This country has so many homeless people that it's pitiful, and we're supposed to be a "Superpower?" Yet, we can't even take care of our own people??? It's Shameful!
Anyway -- I'd suggest that you go to the doctor, and ask him for an antidepressant. If you can't afford them, he can give you SAMPLES. If he doesn't have samples, call this number: Free Health Hotline: 1-800-348-8754. I'm not sure how much help they can give you, but it's worth a call!
Plus the manufacturers of medications very often help with paying for their meds, or will offer them for FREE if you can't afford to pay for them. So call the manufacturer too! Best of luck and God bless. Hugs, Lee
