I take Abilify and got akathisia from it. It works well for me so I didn't want to go off of it. We tried reducing it but that wasn't enough so my pdoc put me on propranolol, a beta blocker used for high blood pressure that also stops akathisia. It worked so I am still on Abilify with propranolol. As an extra benefit, propranolol also helps with anxiety.
