I could have handled the money situation....it would have been so hard yet I could have helped him with that. It's the lies and betrayal that have hurt me beyond. I gave him so many chances to open up to me and he made a choice of not doing that.

The only reason he finally admitted (he told me) was because he went flat broke and knew I was going to find out.

You are right though...he has to get better for himself....the same goes for me. My thoughts right now are on my 2 boys.
