Just read a new bipolar book entitled, Welcome to the Jungle: Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Bipolar But Were Too Freaked Out to Ask. While it is geared toward a younger crowd (say 30 and under), I really found it quite good. It takes a very personal, casual, "human" (as opposed to "textbooky") approach to very common issues that we deal with: accepting diagnosis, struggles with med issues, relationship issues, etc. Quite refreshing in a 20-something, sometimes a bit colloquial sort of way -- even for this almost 50-year-old. Worth a look.
Thanks for this!
