I was diagnosed with depression 16 years ago and feel like I have tried every SSRI available to me. Zoloft was the most effective with the least side effects, but stopped working for me after less than 5 years. None of the other antidepressants I have tried seem to have any positive effect for me, except for Effexor, which has unpleasant side effects for me. I take it because I need to. If I don't take it, I am a danger to myself. I try newer medications as they are available to me, but nothing has been as helpful as Effexor for me.
I'm sorry wellbutrin is not working for you. Please share your concerns with your prescribing medical person as soon as you can. Don't give up.
