The "douchebaggery" is a self-diagnosis based a lot on how my wife reacts to my brilliant sense of humor. I'm not sure it's correct, though, since it quite often mimics the symptoms of "dickheadedness" - also a very plausible condition in my case.

BTW, the door is not nearly as big a deal as it felt last night. Plus, I can just blame it on the kids - they break ***t around here all the time.
