I, too, have clinical depression, and have been taking Effexor for 7 1/2 years now. I recently had the dosage doubled to 300mg. a day, and, I also have been taking welbutrin for about a year and a half. For the most part, I am fine, but do have difficulties if I become more depressed from time to time -- that is difficult to work through

Since doubling up on the Effexor just over 2 months ago, the worst side effect for me, has been dealing with being warm, almost hot, all the time. I do not tolerate being hot well to begin with, and, so, when the weather:heats up, I really can become uncomfortable
