Slowdowns have been exceedingly rare for me in the last year or two. A few times in the last week or so, I'd noticed that a page seemed to take an extra few seconds to load. It wasn't consistent, though, and didn't seem worth the trouble of reporting.

About 20 or 25 minutes ago, however, I suddenly found that every Forums page I tried was hanging up for several minutes. I tried clicking Reload; same result. I tried closing Firefox, then restarting it and restoring the session (4 tabs); same result. After about 5 minutes, the problem seemed to fix itself and now pages are loading normally again.

The later versions of Firefox don't give as detailed status reports as the old ones used to, but the problem seemed to show up while "waiting" for Psych Central, not while "connecting" to it. Most of the time, the title of the new page didn't appear in the tab; once it did, the rest of the page soon loaded. I didn't try any other sites, nor any Psych Central pages outside the forums. If it happens again anytime soon, I'll see if I can get even more info.
