Home, remembering the very words you just wrote out and exclaiming to your father "oh where is she now?"

You know, when we start cutting the rope is not easy. And it doesn't help to blame it on your husband.

You've got to decide whether you want to live the life you think right or the life your mother thinks right. Cause it seems your ideas of right are quite different.

You need to change habits. And that's a process and it does not take a minute.

You are hurting cause you believed for so long that she was right and that being a 'good girl' would lead to right places in life.
Now you are being an adult and watching over her teachings and deciding that maybe you don't like them a lot.

You can always be your Mum's favorite: all need to do is to go back to old habits and you'll get along just like one month ago.

But if you want to decide, if you want to be treated like an adult.... well don't ask so many questions about HER and think and build the life you want.
I know I shouldn't blame my husband for her. I just wish he would have handled the situation better, or at least help me speak to her after the fact about things calmly. I do agree, it's how you resolve things and communicate to at least try and make things different. Not just sit and stew and bad mouth. My husband won't budge. I cant get him to go over to her and talk diplomatically about things. I want my behavior to change towards her and I want to do this now rather then later. I just don't want to leave things unresolved, and if its ever to late to fix, I just want some peace of mind knowing things will be ok in the future.
I know that if I went back to my old habits with her, she will be worse then before, so I have to stay strong. I just don't know how much more I can't take of this. I can't allow her to control my life anymore, no matter how bad I feel for her.
You right, she is definitely sitting there saying that to my father. I guarantee it. Shes also probably saying that its my husband thats keeping me away. What a waste of a life. She has the nerve to talk about other people. She never has looked at herself not once.
I have to stop being so weak minded. How to I change that?
