Well SpazKatt, if she actuallly swallows the paper and plastic, that's definitely not a good thing. It could plug her up and make her really sick. My cat just enjoys tearing the paper up and I watch him but he doesn't swallow it. He has tons of toys too but would rather have the newspaper!

Hi Tanya, when my cats eat grass, I have noticed about a half hour after they have eaten it, they will throw up and usually, they get rid of hairballs in their tummies that won't pass. I was always told they eat grass to empty their tummies from something that is upsetting it, like hairballs or something they have eaten that doesn't agree with them. I don't know, maybe I was told wrong??
