I know that I haven't posted in a while and there is a good reason for it. My friend has been in the hospital most of Oct. She is doing better and has been out of the hospital since Halloween. She is still weak and has good & bad days but I think that she'll be ok. Now that she's out I have to give her insilin shots because of the steroids that she's taking. She now has a home health nurse that comes in several times a week along with a physical therapist who comes to see her three times a week. There will also be an occupational therapist who will start visiting her this week sometime. Her care is still overwhelming to me at times because her breathing can change at the drop of a hat..it can go from being real good to real bad within a matter of minutes. Things are ok but we still have a tough road ahead.
