So the pdoc wants me off the meds. He thinks I'm fine now. At the end of June I will begin tapering off very slowly probably cutting my dose from 7.5 to 5 for a while just to let my brain adjust. I don't want to return to the psychosis but its impossible not to try going off since pdoc is so convincing. He spent like 15 minutes telling me why I should be off the meds.

My question is this when tapering off abilify did you experience side effects? Last time I went to 5 was a year ago and I was anxious and irritated. I'm not sure if my illness was returning of if this was some sort of temporary withdrawl symptom. Has anyone here gotten off successfully with a pdocs help? Did you experience withdrawl symptoms?
