I'm not sure I agree with the new PM status feature.... but you are boss of course. I purposely usually do NOT tell specific people if I am putting them on ignore, for my own reasons. (I think I read here it isn't allowed or encouraged anyway) I do NOT want to cause ANYONE any hurt. This has been my feeling, ever since the ignore feature was first initiated. It is MY feeling.

But the only way NO hurt is ensured by any specific individual in ANY community is by NEVER even going there. Again that is MY opinion.
