I'm sorry your mother is so criticising and judgemental of you. It can really make things hard. My dad is pretty much the same way with me some times, even if he doesn't intend to be, and it's very demoralising. I don't have any tips to offer you, because I've not yet found an adequate defence But perhaps you could get your dad to talk to her about it?
