Honestly, without knowing more about you I'd have to question whether you really are bipolar at all. The fact that your antidepressant is apparently working without causing any mania or hypomanic symptoms tells me that you may very well not be BP.
Having anxiety and anger doesn't automatically equal bipolar disorder, and if you turn out not to have it, be thankful.....trust me, you don't want this. The only person who can diagnose you properly is a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist; the average GP/internist is not trained to diagnose, or prescribe for, psychiatric disorders. Please get a referral ASAP; it's almost always better to know what you're dealing with instead of analyzing yourself to death and not coming up with the correct answer (and believe me, I did the same thing before I was diagnosed).
