How can I be certain it's an actual episode? I've only had one that landed me in the hospital for 17 days after I "lost" a whole week.
Thoughts?

Hopefully you're just feeling good. I've heard that Wellbutrin can be very helpful with depression, maybe it's kicking in. You're also coming off of a gigantic dose of Seroquel, which is so sedating that I wouldn't be surprised if you started to have a lot more energy just because of that.
Lengths of episodes depends on the person. The 'official' criteria I think says something like minimum several days to a week. As I say, everyone's different and there are different flavors of bipolar, but I find the parameters helpful sometimes in trying to differentiate between just a 'regular' mood I'm in in a given moment, on a given day (good, not so good, anxious, something bothered me, something p.o.'d me, something made me feel good, etc.) and what might be an 'episode.' It also just *feels* completely different, but that's hard to describe. Certainly not a perfect science by any means, though!
