busy. Try to keep yourself
grounded, whether it's by smell, touch, sound, or sight. Use your senses to keep you grounded and aware.
Avoid depressing things; stick to happy music, funny programmes or movies, draw funny things, write about funny things. Be creative, if you can; whether it's an instrument, poetry, art, or something else. And absolutely
avoid solidarity; those moments when you're alone, sat there ruminating, are a killer to your ability to stay focused and grounded.
Remember, when you fail to follow the above and you are at a loss: you are
never alone, as people all over the world suffer with the biological and psychological addiction that is self-harm. Somewhere, someone is struggling with it, but conversely, many people all over the world are successfully fighting it, and there are countless people moving on from it; it's a
beacon of hope.
