It can be difficult to be disabled, and not be bloody. LOL I too am disabled, but you can't 'SEE' it. I can still "walk" although it's with a pronounced limp. Sometimes the limp isnt as bad as others -- some days the pain isn't as bad, so I don't look AS disabled. But later on after walking a little bit, OH BOY does it get worse! So when I use a disabled parking space, I do get some "looks."
I haven't noticed men being any more judgmental than women tho. In fact, I think it's the other way around. I think it's the women being worse and I'm a woman. Wouldn't you think that they would understand that perhaps someone could have a HEART problem that couldn't be seen. I HAVE had a heart attack! How do they know what the disability is?
People can be very judgmental. It's just the nature of the beast. It doesn't make it right.
But it sure teaches US to be more patient, considerate, understanding & loving. God bless & take care. Hugs, Lee
