Triggers work pretty much the same for any dx I would think. The seriousness of the trigger depends on the severity of the reactionary episode or cycle. Alcohol is a biggy for depression I hear, although it usually just amplifies my current state. Sleep deprivation is a seemingly universal trigger for a manic episode, "seemingly" because I am one of few who function fine on very little sleep, and while I have suffered extreme agitation from a sleep deprivation experiment it didn't trigger me, I think anybody would be agitated if they didn't sleep for 4 days Triggers are personal, what may trigger you, may not trigger me, I have very few bp triggers myself, my cycles are 99% unprovoked, but feeling trapped is definitly 1 though.

Bpd? Now that is a trigger happy dx for sure, and all the usual ones apply to me
