I agree with you on that!
It's depressing & I grew up on TV since
the late 60's.
Not all the TV shows treat women that way.
My favorite show is Rizzoli & Isles starring Angie Harmon
It treats women respectfully. And for those not real familiar
with the show Angie Harmons character Rizzoli doesn't even like
wearing a dress her character is always dressed in pants always looking sharp. Both women are smart with a great wit! Its a great show.
I try not to pay attention to shows that demean women otherwise I would get really pissed off & I get so angry even when some shows come on not being respectful to women.
If you have cable? There is a lock on the TV menu & you can just block it out.
I've done just that on that show Bates Motel.
