As this word appeared , I had no idea what was to follow, what was to be
It was such an innocent start to your last words to me…..
TO
I didn’t know where you were headed, or when you would leave
But the sound of your message was one I didn’t want to believe…..
GO.
This was not the word I wanted to see.
Its appearance was responsible for the mounting fear in me…..

PRAY
God’s assurances of comfort, protection and love for you were my prayer,
he is a forgiving God who bore on the cross our sins.
FOR
At this point, for you, I was willing to do anything.
Our talk was quickly coming to an end,

You were placing in my hands something that belonged to you. You owned it
and you were what made it what it was….
What a responsibility I had in you trusting me with something so important.
SOUL.
This was your prized possession…the most important thing you had ever
owned……it made you who you were.
I prayed for your soul, i heard your fear, I cried for your pain. This assortment of words put
together that morning were your final plea. How was I to know when I first
met you that you would ask this of me?
I hope you chose the right person for that prayer. I hope my prayer took
away your fear and your pain.

you were assured that heaven was where you would go?
