I am excited to see how it is as it grows, maybe the frizz will go away, I can only hope it is a beautiful sandy blonde with darker lowlights . My hair color is wonderful and I love it, I just have to get used to caring for it right as it grows. I have curly hair but want it straight, I use a straightening iron and that works ok but not always perfect .
Always -always- use thermal heat protection sprays before you use the straightening iron because it will fry your hair over time. (This can cause the frizzy-ness)

If you can afford it buy some hydrating oil products for your hair. You just dab a little bit of it in and it will help the frizzy hair. (Either that or a shampoo/conditioner) Every 2-4 weeks apply a hair mask. A lot of the hair masks you can do yourself...like yogurt and olive oil. Also washing your hair every other day helps.

My hair was really dry and damaged for a long time until I became semi-obsessed with getting it to be soft again. I naturally have fluffy/frizzy hair, but its in better shape now.

I wish I looked better with long hair. I always end up cutting it because I think I look funny. x_x

What type of dreads did you have? Did you go natural or prune them often? >_> I really like dreadlocks but they wouldn't look right on me. I also thought you could sew them back into your hair, too??
