Actually I do think many companies do allow some people to be the "office punching bag"; sort of institutionalized bullying. But you are correct. I'm no one's punching bag nor am I her mother and I think I've been polite and forbearing long enough. I could feel my last nerve snap as I took that liberating stroll away from her.
