Hmmm I don't go with any decision that is a required "right now" decision. I learned not to do that in my life. I'm amazed at what will happen when I delay and wait (on God?) If it's meant to be, it doesn't have to be right this second. Plus, if he is perfect for the job, then of course they would pay moving and set up expenses..unless they are looking for quality without having to pay for it.
What would be the perfect scenario for you all? Can you write it out, is there one that works for all? Then ask God for that... and trust Him for it.
If as parents age you will be having to take care of them, then plan in that direction. No sense in getting all settled somewhere when you know within a few years you will have to change the plans.
Plus, I've been in jobs where they hired, moved and after they were all squared away by the "perfection" they fired, moving a cheaper worker in to maintain the wonderfulness

Then again, nothing is ever set in stone. I personally plan to move every 3 years; that I've been here 7 is amazing.
Calm, and trust. If you can't make a decision, then don't.
