Where would you two be happier? (That question helps me make decisions. Sometimes new places or things help me feel there is a new start on life.)
Do you two choose a place to live *mostly* on familiarity/family or finances? If finances are the determining factor, then why not keep searching for other places to live/work? If familiarity/family are weighted more in the decision, then which place KS or GA has more of that?
Aren't there more choices than KS and GA? Where is your dream home located?
Hey . . . Jacksonville, FL is pretty nice and isn't too far from where you live. (I lived there.) Have you researched jobs there? They are the fast growing city in FL and has plenty of jobs. There's a few military bases, decent beach, two interstates run through downtown, largest city landmass in U.S., and it has a football team/stadium. Real estate keeps going up there; it'd be a good investment. It's a southern, slow paced, metro area. You can be country and still get to the big malls and theatres under 30 minutes drive.
