It's only natural to think about a baby--babies are sweet and innocent and lovable. However, I do agree with the other posters that having a child will not help your depression. There is the hormonal aspect of it-during pregnancy and right after the baby's born. Plus, babies--bless their hearts--are a LOT of work, and you won't get much sleep or rest for a while, which can really do a number on you; plus babies grow and children can be a lot of stress. All of that could make depression worse.
