I recently discovered that it's possible to have racing thoughts and hyperactivity even in the middle of what feels like a depression. My pdoc called it dysphoric mania, AKA a mixed episode, and had me double up on my antipsychotic, which has helped quite a lot even though I'm still on a baby dose.

In your place, I'd definitely explore going back on Seroquel or another AP. There's no need to suffer silently.
