Wisewoman, I'm very happy to see that there are people like you around, that care for creatures like dogs so much..giving them a second chance. I know someone who rescues abandoned cats as part of a rescue group, and she loves those cats so much, she's able to find homes for many of them. BTW my Tika was a shelter kitty. Now she's totally spoiled and wants for nothing. She's the light of my life.
