From another one of your threads, it sounds like the pdoc at the program was open to you going back to see her until he spoke to her on the phone. Do you know what happened in that phone conversation?
There's no way to know for sure, but the guess I would have is that the pdoc changed his mind maybe because he had been okay with you going back to the therapist, but with certain changes in the way therapy was conducted? Maybe after talking to her he saw that that wasn't going to happen? Just a theory.
I think maybe if you find out, if the pdoc is willing to share this with you -which I really think he should because you need an explanation- what went on in that conversation, it would shed some light on the change of heart the pdoc had.
I'm not saying what they did was right, but I can see that after an intensive inpatient program, they would get a pretty good idea of the challenges you face, the things that need to be worked on and also the ways in which you improved and grew during the course of the program. I can understand to a point, why the pdoc would think that the kind of treatment you would need now, after completing this program, would be different from the treatment you had before the program.
Do you think this could have something to do with it? In any case, I hope you hear back from the pdoc and that he's willing to be more open with you.
