diet change is essential. (reduce caffeine, chocolate, spicy foods, citrus, drinking quickly, etc.)

aciphex and zantac worked great for me. but i found that avoiding certain foods/drinks helped reduce my symptoms. (i'm totally against taking meds for the rest of my life, if i can avoid it.)

swallowing saliva helps keep the acid down. my hubby taught me that trick. a few times an hour, swallow saliva. saliva helps balance the ph in your stomach.

not wearing tight fitting pants helps.

drinking dill pickle juice helped a bit.

avoiding Cola drinks helped me, too.

sitting upright (at least a couple hours) after meals.

i'm sure there's a few more things i've done to help.

take care ((((((freewill)))))) acid reflux is a pain.
